My first experiment was "Fizzing Colors". We put colored tablets in cups of water. The color tablets left a trail, and the water changed color! We got yellow, blue, and red. The bubbles pushed the color tablets around in the cups! Everything dissolved. According to science, we made a "color solution" when the tablets dissolved in the water.
The next experiment was "Cross-Eyed Colors." We put our color solutions in test tubes; blue in one test tube and yellow in the other. We put them on the table and noticed that when light shine through a test tube, it changed the color of the shadow in the table. When you put the two test tubes together, the colors "mix" and turn green! We shook the test tube and tiny bubbles appeared. If we looked through the test tubes, everything we saw was the color of the test tube!
